Can I get a...

Anyone read this? Or does the silent tap-tap of my keyboard echo in the middle of nowhere? Whether its here, or from the FaceBook Feed, I dont care. Take two seconds and say something. I dont even care what you say. Flame this thing, for all that it matters. Will it stop my feeble attempt at blogging? Doubt it. But nice try anywho =D.

Good news: SPIKE TV has FINALLY started to air reruns of Star Trek Voyager. YESSSSS!!!!!! Bad news: The current air times are at 5 and 6 pm. There are many problems with this. 1) Its dinner time. Some people have problems with having the thing on during dinner. 2) The first episode comes on at the same time "Ellen" comes on, and everyone else wants to watch that. Dont get me wrong, I love the show, and havent enjoyed a talk show sinse the first season or two of Rosie O'Donnels show that was however long ago. Choosing between Ellen and STVOY would be on a case by case basis depending on what episode of Voyager is on and who Ellen has on the show that day. 3) I work at 6, have to leave the house at 5:45. So its not like I could watch the whole thing anyway. Though I did manage to get the bartender to put it on one of the TVs, so I dealt.

Okay, so Voyager wasnt the best of the 5 series. That honor, IMHO, goes to Deep Space Nine for a slew of reasons that Ill go into another time (careful TNG fans, you dont want to screw up your monitor with all the stuff your wanting to throw now...). But for the most part Trek is Trek. DS9 and Voyager were the only ones I saw and appreciated on its first run. Saw some of TNGs first run, but I was 5 when it first aired, and something onscreen had sent me jumping behind the couch with a yelp. Saw? Yes. Appreciated? ehh, no. But that was years ago, and I enjoy TNG reruns just as much as the other two.
As for The Original Series? When I catch it, I try to watch it, but I dont get G4, and no matter how hard I try, I can never get into it as well as the others.

Long Live all things TREK!
