I really, really wanted to write a nice, detailed blog essay about this. But everytime I tried to write it down, I couldnt get the words to flow. Maybe later itll come to me, and Ill repost this.

Yes, Im aware theyre two different issues. One deals with the wisdom of bringing 6 year olds to R Rated films, and the other one deals with children who are raised by a daddy named 'Sony' and a mommy named 'Dell' (er, no offense if this actually is your name). But are they really two different issues? These are the same kids we're talking about, being raised to be completely dependant upon technology, and by parents who apparently dont care. They dont care about their kids enough to find a baby-sitter or a better movie while they go see some freakish R-rated thing that could seriously damage a childs mental well-being. They cant pay enough attention to their child, so instead they hand them a gameboy or a PSP or drop them
in front of a TV for hours on end.
Whatll happen when these kids grow up to be functioning members of society? Im really not looking forward to the answer.
